Off to the Fair

Yesterday, the Gruwells headed to the Renaissance Festival. It was way better than I thought it would be (my expectations were pretty low). I was amazed how much there was to do and see and how good the shows actually were. The sword-swallower and the jousting was my favorite. The boys also got knighted, which was just plain adorable. The kids also loved playing all the games. Trying to climb up the twisting ladder was their favorite-only Riley made it and won a free drink. Huzzah! The characters were so great w/ the kids. Even the food people were friendly and didn't seem at all the the usually "this job has sucked my soul right our of me" types that usually staff places like this. Here's a million pics.
