Braces

Our good friend Brad Pierson, left the military for private practice, so we thought we'd let him fix Spencer's teeth.

Spencer insisted his mouth would be too sore to chew and so he'd need an extra large shake.

Corpus Christi

We headed down to Corpus Christi over President's Day weekend. We just wanted to get away and all the palm trees make Scott happy.  We also thought we'd check it out as a possible future place to live.

We found the church building and it had a playground across the street.  The boys were thrilled it had a merry-go-round and they spun each other until they were sick.

We explored a little more on Monday and of course did a little bird-watching.  (I find the Rileybird the most beautiful)

Of course, no trip to Corpus is complete with out a stop at our favorite buffet.

Secret Admirers

The Middle School has a fundraiser where students can buy flowers for a $1 to be delivered during advisory period.  Spencer apparently has 2 secret admirers. 

2 poor girls have probably been thinking of nothing else for days, but he just shoved them in his back pack and forgot about them.  He doesn't think girls have cooties, but unless they play basketball or football, they really have no relevance in his life.

Made me laugh

Last night, I put clean sheets on Spencer's bed and told him to make it.  He was up late working on a homework assignment, but I went to bed.  
This morning, I was surprised to find him sleeping on the floor.  I figured he was just too lazy to make his bed.  I clicked on my computer and the first thing to pop up was a search for videos on "How to put a fitted sheet on a bed".

I love that kid.
