Today, while playing "Bird Bingo", Eddie decided that it was his turn to be the caller. Because he can't read yet, Scott would whisper the name of the bird in his ear, and Eddie would then announce the name of the next bird in the game. When this bird popped up, Scott whispered its name to Eddie (Northern Mockingbird). Eddie then enthusiastically proclaimed, "The next bird is . . . Mormon Knockingbird!"
Scott told this story to our Baptist friend. He asked if they come in pairs, wear ties, and ride bikes?
One Sunday I taught the Sunbeams and we found a bat hanging outside the church doors and the kids said it was a Mormon Bat...must be in the nocturnal ward. Eddie is so cute and funny!
