Healthy Eating Update

So I've been trying to use new ingredients. Here's my reviews
Fennel-better then we thought
Rice Sticks-neutral, although I don't know if I made them right
Capers-not a fan (they tasted like little green olives-I only like the black ones)
Kale-great in soups -doesn't get soggy like spinach

Tonight's arugula-I think it's just fun to say-arugula

  2. I'm not sure these foods would fly in my house. I've got the missionaries tonight for dinner...maybe I'll whip out a mystery ingredient for them although last time I had them...one of them didn't know what asparagus was.

  3. I was really kinda shocked how excited the kids got to try new things. It was like dinner show and tell. Asparagus was the last thing I ate before I got my appendix out and I will never be able to eat it again.

  4. Good for you! I used to get away with stuff like that more but my kids have gotten into a sudden picky stage. I told them they'd better be careful or mom just may stop cooking altogether!

  5. Good for you! I'm so impressed! I am not a vegetable fan (and I majored in health--go figure) but am crossing my fingers that one day my kids will eat all those things!!!
