July 4th

The day started out well with Spencer participating in a flag ceremony.

We ate some breakfast tacos and the kids made some patriotic crafts.  Eddie should have spent more time making crafts and less time on the spinning thing at the playground.  By the time we got him off, he was looking a little green.

We piled him in the car and thought a Sonic drink would help.  It might have, but we were about 5 minutes too late, and he threw up all over the car.  This made Spencer sick and we tried to get everyone out of the car, but when you pull into Sonic, your doors get trapped shut. We finally got everyone out and they finished barfing in the bushes.  Somehow, Scott set the car alarm off and I reacted like every good mother- by laughing hysterically.

I can't believe Scott, snapped these pics, but it will surely be our most memorable 4th of July EVER!
