In our church, girls 12-18 attend "Young Women" (us Mormons are so creative w/ names) They start off each year with "New Beginnings (again such a creative name), where they invite all the current Young Women and their parents along w/ the incoming ones. Last night, I went w/ Riley. She seemed to belong there so much more than w/ the little kids and it made me a little sad. Sure I couldn't be happier with who she's becoming, but I miss my little girl.
Ahhh, but teenage girls are so much fun! After they get all their teenage angst (sp?) out of their system. Trust me, you will begin to enjoy her even more than you thought you ever could!
